Released on January 8th, 2009, Level Explorer 2 is the sequel to Level Explorer, and can be considered the beginning of the Level Explorer canon as the previous game had no story elements. Although the story is not explained much in the game, a brief rundown was given in the game's original manual. Players once again assume the role of Stickman, who has become a hapless victim of two witch doctor scientists who use him as a test subject for their wacky experiments.
Level Explorer 2 expands greatly upon its predecessor, which can be considered more or less a "demo" of Level Explorer 2. Consisting of four game modes, and 24 levels (5 at release), Level Explorer 2 has more to offer than its predecessor. During its initial run, the game was periodically updated with new content for a year and three months, with its final update released on April 2nd, 2010.
